As much as I pray for the time to freeze so I can collect all my memories, I feel like it is just speeding up. One of my closest friends Maddy moved into my bedroom in Costa Mesa just a few weeks ago because she is taking over my spot in the house when I move, and it has been so sweet waking up with a long list of things to share about how grateful I am for life at the moment.

Maddy is one of my favorite people to share updates with because she embodies Romans 12:15-16 which states, "Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in harmony with one another." She wakes up ready to encourage or weep or celebrate any update I have to share. What a gift it is to know people who live out who God calls us to be to one another!

Anyways, I have been processing with her how these last couple of months have been some of the best I have ever experienced living in Costa Mesa. I have had so many opportunities to share the gospel with strangers. I have bee able to make new friendships that have gone very deep in a very short amount of time. God has even answered one of my biggest prayers over the last two and a half years, which is that the youth at Southlands would grow deeper in their love for worship and step into their gifts of leading. How could I possibly leave when I have been living in the desert and there is finally fruit bearing?

Well, Sweet Maddy reminded me that I moving from "glory to glory" There is glory in the place I am living in now, but God is not removing me from glory to put me back in the desert. I am moving from glory into glory. I am always so amazed God has the power to do MORE than we ask him to do. He doesn't just restore the broken things in our lives, but he redeems them fully and gives us an ABUNDANCE of favor, more than what we need. Sometimes I question if God is really speaking something over me or if someone is just sharing a general word for many people around me. Not only did Maddy share about this concept of "glory to glory," but another friend Sabrina reached out to share a worship song after I told her about what God is doing in my life. She said "I feel like this song is you right now." Can you guess the name of the song?

I love how God just continues to pursue us and confirms through others what he is trying to speak. We don't deserve a God who is so involved in our lives, but he loves us so much he wants to take us from glory to more glory.

The lyrics of the song that Sabrina shared says this, "Created from dust. You came and You lived among us. You took on our frame. You walked in our pain. And now You're taking us higher. You stepped into time. You laid down Your life to save us. You took all our shame. On the cross it was laid. And now You're taking us higher.

We go from glory to glory to glory. We'll never be the same. We go from glory to glory to glory. We're forever changed.

You call me Your friend. Brought into Your endless kingdom. By the blood I was made. No longer a slave. And now You're taking us higher. Love conquers everything. We'll cry an anthem singing Holy, Holy. And when we see that day. We're standing face to face. We'll shout an anthem singing Holy."

I encourage you to go listen to this song and let these powerful lyrics wash over you today! Love you all and I mean it! Thanks for letting me process this season with you.
